Asakusa Tokyo
Review by RR
“Woah new kid, what is up where you from?”
“Oh hi, I am Xander and I am from San Diego, California.”
“Sweet, me too!
“So do you know anything cool to do here?”
“Well there are plenty of things to do here! But my favorite place to go is Asakusa, Tokyo.”
Asakusa offers many different things to do, from temples, to city life to even shopping! I definitely recommend that you and your family visit Asakusa maybe even bring me haha.
“Sure but could you tell me more about this place?”
“The Asakusa temple is very famous and is considered one of the best tourist attractions in Tokyo” The temple is right outside the train gate you will be able to distinguish which temple it is, I say to just follow the people and look for a gigantic crowd taking pictures. It has mini shops surrounding the temple, they include toys, antiques, food and even clothing. But if you plan on going I can’t stress this enough but bring a jacket! When I went I was naive and didn’t bring a jacket and I was freezing! Anyways there is a Japanese arcade that have similar games to US games only in Japanese and cooler prizes. I once won a big Japanese anime character that can talk! Oh and the food here is absolutely delicious they have a wide variety of interracial delicacies.
“Wait wait wait do they have Filipino food?”
“Of course you just need to search for Filipino restaurants”
“Ok thanks for the info I will text you some updates whether I can bring you to show my family and I around!” What is your kik username?
“My kik user is RVLXND and my Instagram user is the same”
“Sweet”
“Aw that is the bell I’ll see you later dude!”
“Alright Bye!”

Yokohama Landmark Tower
Review by YS
If you love a nice view, the city, or fun activities to do with your family, you should go to the Yokohama Landmark Tower. It has an amazing, breathtaking view of the city considering that the main attraction is on the 73 floor! Also you can eat a nice dinner there and all of this is only 30 to 40 minutes away from base.
the way there was about a 30 minute train ride looking out across the city, and even some wildlife among the trees. It is a very nice train ride there and believe me, the scenery only gets better as you actually arrive to the Landmark Tower.
When my family and I arrived and took our first couple of step off the train, we felt the warmth of the sun our skin, looked left, looked completely up, and saw the massive building staring down at us. Then gazing around at the city before my eyes, we saw a ferris wheel and even some roller coasters around it.
As we enter the magnificent building my heart begins to pick up the pace due to my fear of heights although I am excited. We enter the elevator that flies us so fast you can't see the numbers switching but you don't feel a thing except your ears are going to need to pop. Once you're on the top floor you get a breathtaking 360 degree view of the gorgeous city around you. My fear vanished into thin air, until I looked down but it eventually went away. Then we ate dinner up there in a nice, relaxing restaurant.
If my mom asked if I wanted to come again, I would say yes in a heartbeat. I’d rate this whole a trip 4.8 stars. I had a great time and I hope you do too.

Landmark Tower

This place in going to talk about has fun, relaxing, and delicious places to eat; the landmark Tower. The Landmark tower is located in Yokosuka Bay, about an hour drive there are roller coaster and other fun things. You will also notice the area because of the tall landmark tower. Next to all that you can see the beautiful Yokosuka boys view and enjoy the sunset. On the way in the tower there is a while people watch them. The Landmark Tower has so many floors and places to shop for clothes, toys, sports gear, food, snacks, jewelry, and stuff for pets. The couple first floors are for shopping lots of clothes and second are also clothes and sporty stuff and around the middle are the restaurants. They have all types of food. Chicken, sushi, ramen, soba, pasta, fish, and also really cheap food. If you like games they have a Pokémon store that is really famous. They have cards, stuffed animals, key chains, cloth, backpacks, and even Pokémon lunch boxes. The sport place is really nice. They have skis, snowboards, soccer gear, and every other sports you can think of. The place is so big you probably could stay for at least 3hours wandering around buying a lot of stuff. Probably by the end of the day you will be tired with family or friends and talk about how much fun you had at landmark tower while going home, back to Yokosuka. At night the ferris wheel light up and look really cool. I think that’s a good place to go. You should try to go on Americans holidays because it would be as crowded. I would scale this from 1 to 10 a 8.

I am going to take you to Narnia ( AKA, Landmark tower). It is a tale of hardship & standing up on trains. The tale begins in the housing complex of Yokosuka Naval base, Japan. There was a handsome man and his family, the handsome man was me, now lets get back to the story. We had to walk to the train station which took about an hour. Then we had to battle evil dwarves…
not part of the story… oh. Anywaay… we got on the train and had to stand up for about 2 hours. But we got to see magnificent scenery and dragons.. not real either , man! But when we got there it was a pretty cool, in a city kind of way. But we got lost trying to get there. But eventually we got to landmark tower and got some awesome food. We went shopping then left because we saw everything we could.

Turtle Inn
Review by RS
The country of Japan is filled with fun, educational, relaxing, and delicious places for a newcomer to visit. One of these places that is within a reasonable distance of Yokosuka, isn’t very expensive, and allows for a taste of Japanese culture, is the Turtle Inn.
The Turtle Inn is found next to a bustling city across a beautiful river. It has beautiful scenery where no matter what room you choose, you will always see something magnificent. The trees and plants create a blissful experience that is sure to be a wonderful change from city life. You can walk down a path, through the woods, and end up at old buddhist statues of the deceased. The statues line all the way down to the cemetery. The river is always accessible to sit by and is a crystal blue color. What makes the Turtle inn so great to visit is its perfect location for nature lovers and newcomers to Japan.
The Inn itself is very different from most hotels. It has beautiful dark wood construction and is not very crowded. You won’t have problems getting a room and the prices come much cheaper than most hotels. When you walk in, the place smells like fresh picked flowers. To your left you’ll even be able to purchase handmade pottery. They serve free breakfast and have very fast wifi. A stay at the Turtle Inn entails dinner on the ground with tatami mats as well as sleeping on surprisingly comfortable beds. The room isn’t small but also isn’t fairly large either. It has clean bathrooms and plenty of space for your commodities.
During your stay you will also be able to go into a sauna. The sauna is very large and nobody ever seems to be in there. When you wake up you will be treated to an American style breakfast or Japanese if you prefer.
If you are new to Yokosuka, or just want to try something different, than the Turtle Inn is the place for you. It has the best value for you dollar and offers great scenery and features that no other hotel can offer.

I remember the day so well, almost like it was yesterday. well then again it was only two weeks ago, but back to the story. I woke up at about eight O'clock in the morning to catch my train. It was only a short ride probably twenty to thirty minutes and then I was there. I had arrived in Kamakura. Right when i got out of the train station I knew this was going to be a great trip. The place was beautiful and very alive. I first went down one of the main streets and I walked around looking at all the different shops and wonderful clothes they had on display. There were lots of jackets and scarves and any clothing you could imagine. Another thing was the smells. There were streetside vendors and other restaurants. I decided to get something to eat as it approached eleven o’ clock. I went to a small restaurant that my dad chose. When you walk in you take off your shoes you put them in cubbies and you grab the key. Then you are escorted to an open table where you only wait for a short while before someone takes the order. I cannot remember what I ordered but that wasn’t even the best part. When they bring the food you cook it on the stovetop built into the table. It was so cool because I had never been to a restaurant where I got to cook it, or if you didn’t want to they would also cook it for you. The food was amazing at a really good price. After we finished we walked to the shrine. Inside it was beautiful. They had statues and amazing architecture. There were also dancers inside this one area behind the well. It was awesome I wanted to take a picture, but right when I was taking out my phone I saw a sign that said no cameras were allowed. I was really bummed but it was still very cool to be able to visit there. After the shrine we decided to walk down another street towards the beach. There were more stores and restaurants. I got to visit one store that was really cool because they had some surfboards their. They also had more clothes and other cool shoes and things. Then we continued walking until we reached the beach. It was beautiful with the white sandy beaches and crystal clear water. We stayed there for a while and took pictures, but I wish I could’ve went swimming. After we left the beach we walked back towards the train station where we saw a Patagonia store. I had never been to one before so I was pretty excited. There was lots of cool stuff inside like clothing and different types of surfboards and snowboards. We stayed there for a while just waiting for my mom to get done. Once she was finished we walked back to the train station and made our way back to Yokosuka. I had a wonderful day and would recommend it to anyone to visit Kamakura.

Rainbow Bridge
Review by KT
It is a spring night, bright lights, water and a full moon. A city full of skyscrapers Tokyo Bay underneath us. Its colors on the bridge are just amazing. Red, Green, Purple and more. Rainbow bridge is so stunning. It’s so romantic you can see it far away in Tokyo. Since we were stuck in traffic we got to see a boats and cruise ships in Tokyo bay. We got to see all the skyscrapers, buildings and even gorgeous hotels. On the bride I could see plans it almost felt like a dream. Rainbow bridge is the best I am pretty glad we got stuck in traffic. It felt more like a dream than reality. I felt if I could stay up there all day. Since it spring it's not too cold or hot the temperature is just right. You can see pink cherry blossoms just as beautiful and real that are on the internet. I feel like this is New York City expect they speak another language and have different cultures. But they have the same content the skyscrapers and the Brooklyn Bridge. Sometime I wish I can get on a boat and go away out Tokyo Bay and stop as soon as I saw the Rainbow bridge. I would bring my best friend out and we will both enjoy a beautiful thing a lot of people don’t have the opportunity to see. I will enjoy the weather, the stars, the bridge, the lights and the moon. That is why I recommend the rainbow bridge. From my experience I love it now I want other people to see what I saw.
