Pepper Lunch
Review by ZK
If you’re looking for a nice and delicious meal, then you should try out Pepper Lunch. Pepper Lunch is a four-star, small restaurant that is conveniently located right outside the main gate. Pepper Lunch is a bar style restaurant with little to no waiting time to eat. Being in the middle of so many other restaurants and shops, it doesn’t get much attention. But once you taste their delicious food, you’ll always want to come back for more.
Pepper Lunch pretty much serves its own namesake. The most popular dish is “pepper rice” which includes a ton of rice with strips and pieces of beef throughout it, topped off with pepper of course (most dishes are). The restaurant also includes a variety of other dishes with vegetables or steak alone. The meals are served fresh and right off the grill. Or should I say On the grill, because the meals are served on small metal dishes that are still cooking your food. You mix around the food to finish cooking it, add a sauce if you want, and then dig in (careful - its hot). The food will fill your mouth with amazing and wonderful flavors! The best part of it is that the meals only range from 600 yen to 1200 yen per dish.
Pepper Lunch is a nice place to relax and enjoy a meal with your friends. When you’re done, you can shop in the many stores around Pepper Lunch, or just head back to the base which only two minutes away. If you’re looking for a meal of rice and beef at a low price, then Pepper Lunch is your place.

More’s City Restaurant
Review By: LA
If you’re searching for a good place to eat, visit More’s City on Blues Street. It’s full of restaurants on the 8th and 9th floor. I don’t know what it’s called, but it’s a ramen place. I mean, you’re in Japan, so why not try japanese food. When you walk up to the restaurant, there will be a vending machine that prints out tickets. You insert money and press the button for the meal that you want. Then you hand it to someone that works there and they’ll get you seated. While you’re waiting you can watch the people prepare your food. They make fresh noodles every day and the aroma takes you to a new world. It’s almost like you’re following a trail to heaven. When they serve your food, they tell you to be careful because it’s hot. It’s just a big bowl full of happiness and deliciousness. Your tastebuds just get excited. But if you’re not into eating ramen, there’s a huge selection of places to eat there. So I think you’ll be satisfied no matter what.
Another good place around that area is Baquet. It’s a restaurant with bottomless bread. I think they’re trying to go for a french style place, so when you walk in, a warm gust of wind hits you with the scent of fresh bread. Every time a new batch of bread is made. they ring a bell to inform you. Their main dishes are full of great flavours and has a good presentation. This is definitely a wonderful place to eat. It’s welcoming and cozy.

Sushiro
Review by: GC
Many people that live in Japan love sushi. Some people buy sushi in supermarkets, while others eat sushi at restaurants or sushi houses. I found this sushi house called Sushiro that will definitely catch the attention of sushi lovers out there. There is a variety of sushi, along with some other grilled and fried delicacies that will make customers come back again and again.
I chose this spot because I want to show people the foods Japan has to offer. And even though I am not a fan sushi, I loved the grilled food they had there so even people that don’t like sushi can go there and eat. What’s interesting there is the way you order.
My mother, my sister, and I went there through the main gate. We walked across the wooden bridge, went up the stairs and crossed to the other side. We then walked to the Daie Mall, which is near the sushi house, and went to the sushi house. There is also a Thai restaurant near the sushi house. It only took about five minutes to reach the sushi house.
When we entered the sushi house, the first thing I noticed is the cozy atmosphere. I also heard a tune that I later found out that it indicates that an order is going to its destination. I also, fortunately, noticed that the seats they use are two-seater leather couches. There can be four people at each table. That is for a group table. There is also a table if you want to go there alone. the worker near the door gave us a kind of menu that has the table number on it. I looked at the other occupied tables and noticed that each of them had at least five, little, empty plates. But there is one thing that caught my eye. It’s the conveyer belt that brings the order to the customer.
This is how you order at Sushiro. When you get at your table, the conveyer belt is either at your left or at your right. At the side of the conveyor belt there will be a little touch-screen device, where you will pick what you like, and when you’re done you press ‘order’ on the screen. you can only order five at a time, you have to click order before can order again. the device will notify you if your order is on the way.
The cost of each dish is 100 yen. While each plate of dessert cost from 100 to 240 yen. but to me I like the chocolate cake that only cost 100 yen.
I had a fun time there. That is one of the unforgettable days of my life. And I hope that if you come here it will be yours too.
